Sega Japan will make a HUGE event of 24 hours called "Puyo Puyo"

In this event we will see a lot of information about future SEGA games including Phantasy Star Online 2, Project Diva, Yakuza.

And the most important for us: A EXCLUSIVE SECTION of 90 minutes for the Sonic Team.

In this section Takashi Iizuka, Jun Senoue, Kazuyuki Hoshino y Tadashi Takezaki will be talking about the Sonic Team...(that means that they may include the new Sonic Game Teaser)

BYE BYE BUGS

Good news for us!

As seen in Sonic Stadium Forummus it's looks like bugs in Sonic And All Stars Racing Transformed has their days counted.

Sumo Digital is only awaiting the approval of Sega, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.

The patch will contain fixes for many of the bugs and glitches that have been found and reported for all of us.

This is what S0L’s said:

We’re certainly not ignoring these, indeed we’ve been busy both before and after the holidays addressing them. We’ve dropped new code with SEGA to check out the corrections, and once they’re confirmed, the next step is getting them submitted to the platformer holders.

So it’s coming, but you have to understand that this process takes time. Much as we’d love to push out instant updates, it’s not quite that easy. For example we found and fixed the Wii U version the day after it was reported, but it took well over two weeks for the fix to get checked out, submitted and approved. Same is true here, even when we’re satisfied it’s all fine, it still needs checking by SEGA QA, then by the platform holders. Trust me, we’re trying to get it to you as quickly as possible.

…that said, hopefully not too much longer…!

SPECIAL POST N°3: How could fans react to the anounce of...?

Alright sonic brothers and sisters this is my favorite section of the blog. As you may know a lot of rumors say that the next hedgehog day (February 2) a new AAA Sonic game will be anounced.

I imagined how the fans (including me) could react depending of what game sega anounce.
I wanted to make it FUNNY for all of you, so I hope you enjoy this! :D

HOW COULD FANS REACT TO THE ANOUNCE OF?.......

Sonic Adventure 3?

I'm sure lots of Sonic Fans will do this
if SA3 is anounced

I have years and years to be hearing fans asking for this game and I understand them.

The Adventure Saga is one of the most successfull formula of 3D Sonic but after I've played SA1 and SA2 I can say:

It's overvalued, Adventure Saga has HORRIBLE camara and physics bugs, even when I liked some awesome moments, sometimes I felt unconfortable with the gameplay, the same sensation I felt on Sonic 4 Episode 1

and without your  parents

A lot of people only ask for this game for THE NAME, be carefull of what you are asking for. IF SEGA release a SA3 with a diferent gameplay you will hate it. (And remember that Sonic Heroes and Sonic 06 ARE Sonic Adventure 3 and 4)

BUT A WELL DEVELOPED SA3 could be a massive reborn for sonic, I bet my soul that SA3 could be the best selling Sonic game in years!.

BUT FACE IT! Sonic needs to get away from Adventure Formula.

A New game based on Unleashed-Colors-Generations Formula

Many long time fans began to believe again in Sonic after sonic unleshed (day levels) colors and generations.

I personally like this formula, BUT it works when the level is FULL of dangers like in Adabat, Shamar, Holoska levels of Unleashed.

I also believe that this formula need to have features in each new game, like the wisps in colors and the team-based gameplay (Sonic Heroes) that is suposed the upcoming sonic game will have.

A Sonic-Mario PLATAFORM Game

Believe me, I WILL BE in there if this happen

The Olympic Game Saga show how mario and sonic could appear at the same time in a videogame.

No matter what somebody can argue, if the way of mix Sonic and Mario gameplay in a PLATAFORM game is discovered, believe me, the videogames will have a before and after.

Is hard to this happen, but about 10 years ago seing Sonic in a Nintendo console was near to impossible to believe, and just watch now.

Sonic 4 Episode 3?

Even the huge fan of RiverPlate
do not want to see Sonic 4 again

Sonic 4 saga it's not bad, it's just not what we (the long time Sonic fans) expect from a 2D Sonic game. That's all.

Episode 2 was fun for me, but in any case IT'S NOT THE WAY to do a CLASSIC 2D Sonic Game. 

A REAL CLASSIC 2D Sonic Game?

In any case I will be like this

I really believe that release one pure 2D and then release a 3D game can make the Sonic Saga stay fresh.

And of course, the quality of the games will increase because of the total focus of Sega in each individual game.

Hello crew, this is a last minute new.

You remember the survey of the DLC characters for Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed?

Some characters pass the goal of 1000 votes including Hatsune Miku, Segata Sanchiro, Ryo and others.

Well, I have found in the Sega forums a guy who asked for the DLC survey results to Steve Lycett, the conversation was:

The Cave: Review

I usually only post Sonic-related things here, but all people here in SonicCrewTeam believe that we must support other Sega proyects, so that`s the reason for today post: The Cave.

The cave is a game with great sence of humor, this is a game made for all graphic adventure lovers.

Gameplay

The Time Trip Puzzle is one of the most original and fun
challenges you will defy.

This game is full of funny and really impressive puzzles. You have to choose 3 from 7 characters to team up. Some puzzles force you to use the three characters at the same time.

Every character has their unique abilities. Depending the characters you use, The cave will show diferent challenges to advance.

The Cave is a character, believe it or no, The Cave is really humorous and speak to you very often, making comentaries about your deaths, and your skill.

The Cave is one of the best features of the game, and it is a wonderfull narrator so the fun will never end.

One of the most notorious things about the puzzles is the imagination you have to use to advance. It's something like MacGyber Style.

The desing of the levels is impressive.
And the gameplay is really fun

Graphics

After I've played some levels all I can say is that I fall in love of the cave. The design of the enviroments and the plataforms is really cool.

The Game last 6 hours (these kind of games usually only last up to 4 hours), but if want to try others characters you will play at least 3 times.

I'm sure you're gonna enjoy this game.

We decided to support The Cave because we consider that this game has Sega DNA. I mean, original, funny, impressive and does not need to show crude violence to entertain you.

The game tries to entertain you by using the imagination and the humor.

These are enough reason for us to play The Cave.

New Sonic Game 2013!

As seen in sonicstadium.org Sega may be planning to anounce the new AAA sonic game for 2013 in February!

Sonic will return this 2013 with a new AAA Game

The sources says that will be available on Wii U, PS3, 360, 3DS, PS Vita, PC, and “Next gen” consoles.

But seriously I know for sure that PS4 or Xbox 720 will not be anounced this year or next. Why? Because Sony and Microsoft are trying to earn all they can of their actual systems.

The gameplay is suposed to be like Unleashed (day stages), Colors and Generations.

SEGA has their best developers working on this game and it has been in developing since before Sonic Generations. The game could be in stores this Fall/Autumn, Winter or September.

VERY IMPORTANT: A new AAA sonic game has been confirmed for 2013 but about this rumours there are no official confirmation by SEGA. So we must wait!

New Game from Sonic Fan Remix Creator

This is a Sonic Website, and we only publish news about sonic games, but this is also a community so this is a community new.

The guy who made Sonic Fan Remix has back to the action with a brand new game.

The 90` Arcade Racer is inspired by DAYTONA  USA, INDY 500, SCUD RACER and others.

The proyect is being developed by Kickstarted and it has 26 days more to reach his goal.

If the proyect get enough money it`s pretended to be launched in PC, MAC, Linux and with some luck OUYA.

First news of the Brand New Sonic 2013

After many months of few news of the upcoming SONIC game in 2013 finally we heard more about the game.

As seen on Aodsf.org Ken Pontac, the man who made the history in Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations will return this 2013 with the new sonic game.

The new Sonic Game in 2013 may have a simple history.
As Colors and Generations.

We can confirm two things with this:

First, This game will not be a sports or racing title, it's a "canonical" Sonic game.

Second, the history may be simple, as the two last "canonical" Sonic games.

There are no information about the gameplay style, but we are excited to know more, and of course, all people here in SonicCrewTeam will receive this brand new game with open arms.

Anounced PC Version of Sonic And All Stars Racing Transformed

3 new characters will arrive to the party.

The guests are from Football Manager, Total War: Shogun and Heavy, Pyro y Spy from from Team Fortress 2.

PC version may be the best edition of the game because of the high performance.
All game modes of the PS3, Xbox360 and WiiU will appear too in PC Version.

Yuji Naka loves Sonic Fan Film

After 2.5 years of developing, and one night of tecnical failures (including a super bullying night of sonic jokes against blue core studios) Sonic Fan Film has been released and the Sonic Fanbase is divided, a lot of fans loved the film but other have make cruel critics against the movie.

One of the people who loved the film is Yuji Naka, yes Yuji Naka the former SonicTeam leader.

He described the film as "Awesome"

I would like to give my own opinion of the fan film,

this is not a AAA holywood film, developed by a huge studio with millions of dolars of budget, no, this is a FAN FILM.

And believe me, combine real locations with 3D Animations it's really hard to make.

My respects to this people for the good work they have done.

Also, this is a precuel of the first sonic game, so that's the reason of the short history.

Try to think in this movie as the INTRO cinematic of the first sonic game.

That's the reason I've loved the Sonic FanFilm, because I finally know how all began.

I guess that's the reason of the words of Naka, he know that this is just an intro cinematic and considering that was developed by fans he can only show his appreciation for the effort of the guys of BlueCoreStudios.

SONIC Ripped in pices to LBP Karting and F1 Race Stars

VGCharts has announced the final sales for 2012.

Sonic And All Stars Racing Transformed sold other 90,000 copies in the last week of the past year, so the new sonic game finished the 2012 with 600,000 sold copies.

We've ripped in pieces to our 2 competitors, LBP Karting and F1 Race Stars.

Sonic And All Stars Racing Transformed         600,000

LittleBigPlanet Karting                                 410,000

F1 Race Stars                                                140,000

But as you may know it's neccesary to reach at least 1 Million but i'm sure we are gonna make it.

This was a picture of the moment when Sonic heard about LBP Karting.

Sonic Generations also sold 40,000 more copies to reach 2.64 Million.

The popular Mario and Sonic in London 12 sold other 50.000 and finished the year selling 4.34 Million, 

Our beloved Sonic Colors has sold worlwide 2.57 Million of copies.

AND FINALLY, until 2012 the Sonic Franchise has sold worldwide an estimated of 104.260.000 and we had to add to that numer the digital sales.

That was all for the last year, I wish this year SONIC keep strong.

Interview Resume

I've posted a interview that Blue Core Studios guys gave on MagFestX, it's a long interview of 43 minutes. In case you don't have time to watch it I will make a resume of the most important.

One of his most popular voice acting roles was as Sonic the Hedgehog in various cartoon adaptations. 

He is widely known by fans as THE voice of Sonic and we are happy to have him back.

He has decline several fan films oferts, this fan film is the only one of received a yes from him.

One of the things they focus is to make the movie according of what does the fans would believe in a sonic film.

Several elements of the series has being taken to make this a fan service masterpiece

This is non-profit movie, and they were helped by volunteer donations of fans around the world. Also they work in the movie with their founds.

They seems to be aware of this movi, but they had not public commented anything yet.

VGCharts has published the UK TOP 100 games from the last week.

Sonic And All Stars Racing Transformed has moved forward to Nº31 (Xbox 360) with 7 weeks in charts

PS3 Version is on Nº 73 with 7 weeks in charts.

Other Sonic Games

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Wii) is on Nº 37 with 59 weeks in charts and the 3DS version is on Nº 50 with 47 weeks in charts.

Sonic Generations (3DS) is on Nº66 with 58 weeks on charts.

Other Sega Games

Football Manager 13 and London 12 has reached good sales too.

Finally VGCharts has only to collect the Europe and Japan Charts and we will have the global charts.

REMEMBER, the last time we reached the Top40 in UK the new Sonic game sold more than 100,000 worlwide.

Just a few days left and we will know how much do we have advanced (or not)

GfK has listed the top10 companies that sold more games on UK.

This list does not consider the digital sales so I can say that this is thanks to Sonic.

Remember that Sega does not have other best selling franchise as Sonic, but I think Sega must focus in create brilliant IPS that help them to not depend only from Sonic.

Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed Sold 120 000 copies

We have just started 2013 and the good news are coming!

Look to Sonic, his happy with the results.

From December 15th to December 22 Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed has sold 120,000 Copies. 

The Xbox 360 version is the 62th game of the week in Europe with 6 weeks in charts.

The PS3 Version is the 87th (6 weeks in charts) and WiiU is the 90th game of the week (4 weeks in charts) 

By the way ASR Transformed is the 7th Most Sold game for WiiU.

Until December 22, 510, 000 copies were sold in all plataforms.

That's a good start, if the game sell 100,000 copies each week we will have a succesfull game soon.

Other Sonic Games

Sonic Generations sold other 70,000 copies in the same week, right now the game has sold 2.60     million. In Europe was the the 96th Game of the week with 57 weeks in charts.

And Finally, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games has sold 4.29 million.

This game is the 27th Most Sold Game in Europe (this game even defeated Call Of Duty MW3 PC Version) and it's the 49th Game of the year in USA.

3DJuegos GOTY

As I mentioned before the web 3DJuegos nominated Sonic and all Stars Racing Transformed in 4 categories.

• Best WiiU Game
• Best PSVita Game
• Best 3DS Game
• Best Driving Game

Sonic did not won in any of these categories, but we must not be sad. Remember those awards not always are about quality are just popular based contest.

Just an example, Assasin Creed 3 won "Best Tecnology", I mean come on! The game is good but it has more bugs than sonic 06!, well not so much but almost XD. 

But in some categories Sonic was on the first places of the votes.

What can we conclude of this? The critics are awarding Sonic Franchise, but we must get more fans.

As I mentioned a lot of times, show your sonic games to your friends (the good ones of couse, like Generations, ASR Transformed, If any of you show to any of your friends sonic 06 I will personally go to your home to give you a kick in the ...!XD)

AAA Sonic Games are getting better so looks like sonic is going to enjoy 2013
